April: From the President

Happy Spring! Bring on the sun and warmer days. It is always fun going through 4 seasons in one day! I love hearing the birds chirping in the morning and seeing the daylight lasts longer in the evening.

We currently have a spring membership campaign going on, both at the national level and locally. I loved meeting all the guests we have had at recent meetings. After our April meeting, we had 4 guests join ABWA! I had lunch with a guest not too long ago and I was sharing with her all the great tools and resources ABWA provides its members. So, I thought this month in my president’s letter I would provide some of those resources as well as some upcoming events you can attend to meet other ABWA sisters locally and nationally.

  • Join us on May 25th for dinner at Black Canyon at 6:00. ABWA members and guests are invited.

  • Summer Sizzler: August 26th & 27th - Fun 2-day event with educational speakers, awards, and networking with ABWA members from the tri-state area.

I look forward to seeing everyone at the May 10th meeting. We will be voting on the board positions for our 2022-2023 league year which starts in August.
