Our February meeting was another wonderful ABWA occasion, though we had both Jan & Feb business to cover. It was so great to have a room full of us together. We all enjoyed the ice breaker about Love Languages – lots of laughs as we learned about ourselves and each other.

The kids are heading back to school, the weather is changing day-by-day  and a new league year is upon us! September is a special time of year for ABWA as we celebrate another anniversary on the 22nd. 

2023-2024 League dues need to be paid by August 1st. You should have received an invoice. This can be paid via cash, check, Venmo or Eventbrite. Any questions reach out to Cheryl Schmandt. 

Can you believe it’s July already!? That means we will soon begin another ABWA league year as our league years run August 1st – July 31st. It has been a pleasure helping the 2022-2023 board members guide our league. I hope you have learned something new and enjoyed the year.

We are excited to announce that Chloe Hogue was named Women of Magnitude Express Network’s Impact Scholarship recipient. She plans to attend Indiana Wesleyan University in the fall to study nursing. Chloe writes:

I am the co-chair of the Envelope Pull for the 2023 District V Vice President's Luncheon being held in July. The Envelope Pull consists of donated gift cards in the amount of at least $10.An attendee pays $10 to choose a numbered envelope with a concealed gift card inside in the amount of at least $10.

Hello Women of Magnitude Members! Happy June! I am thrilled to see the sunshine, beautiful flowers and enjoy working in my yard! I hope you are enjoying spring as well.

I hope we are almost finished with the surprise snow storms! Keep thinking spring!The Regional Conference is behind us, and we are now looking forward to the National Conference. We will be meeting in Chattanooga, Tennessee, October 4-7.

Make plans to join us December 13th for our annual holiday party. In place of our normal luncheon meeting we will celebrate the holiday season with a gift exchange, music, food and more. If you plan to participate in the gift exchange, please bring a gift valued at about $20, wrapped and ready to give.

Hello and Happy Fall Women of Magnitude Family! I hope everyone is enjoying the cooler temperatures! One of my least favorite fall tasks is taking care of the leaves in the yard …..

It is really hard to believe this is my last Presidents letter as my 2nd term has come to an end. I look back at so many great memories and accomplishments our group has had. We also faced some challenges as well. It was not always easy navigating through the everchanging parameters of COVID.

The ABWA - Women of Magnitude Network Express is accepting members local dues for league year 2022-2023. Local Dues are due by 8/09/2022. You can pay your $50 local dues via Eventbrite, Venmo, cash of check.
