June 2026 News - meal sponsor opportunities, MBB updates, & summer events
We met June 9 for our June 2026 meeting with guest speaker Julie Hadaway with Legacy University, talking about the Noble Rule and intentional interactions.
We have filled the July meal sponsor, so we will start taking meal sponsors for the 2026-2027 (August - July) league year. If you know of anyone who would like to be a meal sponsor, please reach out to Michelle Crone. Her email address is MichelleCrone@outlook.com.
League Business:
1. Make, Bake and Buy: If you are interested in being involved on the committee, please reach out to Leigh Roberson, Co-Chair of MBB. Her email address is: leigh@thegadgetgirlllc.com.
2. Auction Items for DVP Celebration: Women of Magnitude will be donating a basket for the Silent Auction for the DVP Celebration. The name of the basket is, "Movie Night." If you would like to donate items to the basket, please reach out to Shirley New.
3. Auction Items for Summer Sizzler: Women of Magnitude will be donating a basket for the Silent Auction for Summer Sizzler. The name of the basket is, "Crafting Basket." If you would like to donate items to the basket, you may bring items to the July and August meetings, or you may reach out to Shirley New.
4. 2026 Spring Membership Drive: The Extended Spring Membership Drive will be wrapping up on June 30, 2026. See attached flyer.
Our July meeting will happen July 14 with guest speaker Cassie Beer of the Womens Fund talking about Women in The Workplace.

June 11, 2026 - The District V Vice President, Renee Clement will be hosting League Board Chats on Thursday, June 11 at 7pm. You must register for the event to attend.

June 17, 2026 - Coffee Connections. This is hosted by the Executive Director, Elizabeth Johnson, and the Ambassador Steering Committee. There are (2) time slots you can register for: 1pm EST and 7pm EST. Please register in the "Your Membership" platform under "View National Event Calendar."

July 10-11, 2026 – District V VP Celebration - Celebrating Renee Clement our District V Vice President. Location is the Kensington Hotel, Ann Arbor Michigan. Early Bird Registration is open thru June 13, cost is $60 to attend. Late Registration is from June 14 - 30, cost is $70 to attend. Attached are the flyers for Registration, Silent Auction, Program Ads and Table Sponsorship.
July 14, 2026 - Women of Magnitude's July Meeting. 11:30am - 1pm at the Lincoln Financial Center at the Tincaps Stadium. Our Guest Speaker will be Cassie Beers with the Women's Fund.
July 23, 2026 - Just In Time Webinar. This is hosted by the Executive Director, Elizabeth Johnson, ABWA National President, Barbara Pedersen and the ABWA National Team. Please register in the "Your Membership" platform under "View National Event Calendar."

July 25, 2026 - Cardinal Crossroads Council 2nd Quarter Meeting. 10am - 12noon at Henry County REMC Building, 3400 SR-3 S, New Castle, IN 47362.
August 21-22, 2026 - Summer Sizzler hosted by Cardinal Crossroads Council will be held at Knights of Columbus, 3600 W Purdue Ave, Muncie IN 47304. Further details to follow shortly.
NATIONAL EVENT:
September 30 - October 3, 2026 – National Women's Leadership Conference -- Register in the "Your Membership" platform to attend this 4 day event. The conference is being held at the Houston Marriott - Sugar Land, Texas. Early Bird Registration is open, cost is $665 thru August 30th. Late Registration starts August 31, cost will be $750.
