Find your 'me time', *|FNAME|*

I just returned from a long-needed family vacation. We spent 11 days camping, or as I call it, glamping! At one point we had 27 family members from 5 states at our campsites. We ate, drank, played cards, and had many campfires. It was a great time to unwind and reconnect with family. I say this to remind ourselves how important it is to take time away from work and everyday life stressors. It is so easy to make excuses to not find time to getaway.

Even if that is just for an hour, it can make a big impact. As women, we typically take care of others first and tend to neglect our own health and well-being. My challenge for each of you before our next meeting is to find your “me time.” If you feel like sharing at our October meeting, I would love to hear from a few of our members on what you did and how that helped your mental health.  >>> Read more from our President Dianne Rybicki >>>

In case your missed it...

Our September meeting featured chief Deputy Troy Hershberger (pictured top left) who gave us all some helpful tips and suggestions for bettering our self-awareness and personal safety. Our meal sponsor was Mary Partee with PamperedChef (pictured top right).
We congratulated seven women who achieved perfect attendance for the 2020-2021 league year. Certificates were presented to (pictured left to right): Christie Browning, Heather Lytle, Cheryl Schmandt, and Leigh Roberson. Not pictured: Shirley New, Dianne Rybicki, and Michelle Crone.

September 22nd was American Business Women's Day, which we celebrated all month long. Members were encouraged to wear red and post their selfies on social media. Above are a few of the gals who took part in the month-long festivities. Pictured from left to right: Kristy Owens, Leigh Roberson, Jaime Wilsey-Heckman, Christie Browning, and Cheryl Schmandt.
