It is really hard to believe this is my last Presidents letter as my 2nd term has come to an end. I look back at so many great memories and accomplishments our group has had. We also faced some challenges as well. It was not always easy navigating through the everchanging parameters of COVID.

The ABWA - Women of Magnitude Network Express is accepting members local dues for league year 2022-2023. Local Dues are due by 8/09/2022. You can pay your $50 local dues via Eventbrite, Venmo, cash of check.

Each year, for a limited time, we offer a purchase option that allows for you to pay for a year's worth of monthly meeting fees (typically $15 a month). By prepaying your monthly meeting fees you receive 12 months for the price of 11. The total is $215. This offer expires Aug. 10th.

Each year, we ask all members to fill out a survey as your responses will provide invaluable information to the newly elected leaders in the development of an annual curriculum that will enhance your membership experience.

Hello ABWA members!! How can it be almost July? Summer always goes by way too fast. I just got back from spending a week with my parents who live in Florida. Many people asked me, wasn’t it so hot?! Yes, it is hot, but when you are not working and have access to a pool, the heat is really no big deal….lol.

District V’s Annual Luncheon is slated for Saturday, July 16th at the Kensington Hotel in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This annual event is held in honor of our current District V Vice President. This year we’ll be honoring Gail Frahm.

At our May meeting we celebrated our 7-year anniversary of the induction of Women of Magnitude Express Network. We have had incredible women visit our group and many of them have become ABWA members.

Happy Spring! Bring on the sun and warmer days. It is always fun going through 4 seasons in one day! I love hearing the birds chirping in the morning and seeing the daylight lasts longer in the evening.

What makes you happy? Have you ever really thought about that phrase? Happiness can mean so many different things. Is your happiness dependent on money, status, and job title, or is it waking up without a headache, spending an extra hour with a loved one or just getting time to yourself to read a book or catch up on a movie? It is hard to put a price on happiness.

The Women of Magnitude Express Network of the American Business Women’s Association is offering one scholarship worth $2,000 funded through the Stephen Bufton Memorial Educational Fund to one deserving area student.

As much as I dislike the cold weather if the sun is shining it just makes the day seem so much better. Every one of us has the opportunity to bring sunshine to others. We all have struggles and the people around you, professionally or personally, could be fighting a battle you know nothing about. A few nice words or gestures can help a person more than you know.
